Rural Life
Since childhood I was fascinated by the photos that my great grandfather captured on our family farm through the early 20th century. He enabled me to know people who died long before I was born, appreciate a way of life that had since faded from existence, and visualize things that most people only get to hear about.
That is a large aspect of what drives me with photography—preserving people, places, and stories that have touched our lives before they are gone. This collection is a record of my life in the country.
